Die Sonne sinkt.
Schon steht die glatte Flut vergüldet.
Warm atmet der Fels:
schlief wohl zu Mittag das Glück

In grünen Lichtern spielt Glück
noch der braune Abgrund herauf.

Tag meines Lebens!
Gen Abends gehts!
Schon glüht dein Auge halb gebrochen,
