Gdy ostatnia róża zwiędła
Rzekłam chłop cu idź!
Zerwała się złota nić
Którą miłość przędła.

Poskoczyłam jak najprędzej
Swiéżą nitkȩ wziąść,
Chciałam złotą nit ką prząść
Lecz zabrakło przȩdzy.

Zakwi tnęły róze znowu
Nić się nie chce snuć
Próżno wołam: luby wróć!
