Mich band die Liebe an den Pfahl der Pein,
Durchbohrend mit dem Schwerte, das nicht tötet,
Mein Eingeweide, bis der scharfe Stein,
Auf dem ich kniee, sich mit Blute rötet.
Doch neig ich dankend mich den Schmerzenslosen;
Denn über mir seh ich wie eine Sonne
Die Marterkrone dunkelroter Rosen:
