Christ, wandering with the Twelve

Language: English

Christ, wandering with the Twelve
One day in the fields
Under the hill of Barra by the sea,
Said to them :
' Why take ye thought for raiment ?
Consider the wind-flowers
How they grow,
Swaying, swaying in the grass :
They toil not, neither do they spin,
Nor weave fine clothes to cover them.
Yet I say unto you,
That Oilioll in all his glory
Was not arrayed like one of these.'
