V'la que l'alouette chante,
Et le rossignol
Qu'on rie et plaisante
Par ce beau soleil !
La terre est fleurie ;
La table est garnie ;
Et disons tretous,
Vive Mai, garçons !

Rien n'ai l'humeur noire :
On voit tout partout
Abeille, cancoire,
Bourdon, papillon
Tout y voltige,
Et tout y bourdonne,
Quand luit le soleil,
