War das nicht [ein]1 Blick der Liebe,

Muß, von Mitleid hingerissen,
Auch für mich im stillen glühn! -

O ihr Liebesengel, rühret
Euch das Flehn des Leidenden,
O so steigt herab und führet
Mich zu meiner Heiligen!

Daß ich ihr zu Füßen sinke,
Meine Leiden ihr gesteh',
Und durch einen ihrer Winke
Mich zu euch erhoben seh'!
