Es blökt eine Lämmerwolke
am blauen Firmament,
sie blökt nach ihrem Volke,
das sich von ihr getrennt.
Zu Bomst das Luftschiff "Gunther"
vernimmt's und fährt empor
und bringt die Gute herunter,
die, ach, so viel verlor.
Bei Bomst wohl auf der Weide,
da schwebt sie nun voll Dank,
drei Jungfraun in weißem Kleide,
die bringen ihr Speis und Trank.
Doch als der Morgen gekommen,
der nächste Morgen bei Bomst, -
da war sie nach Schrimm verschwommen,
wohin du von Bomst aus kommst ...
