Sokat bujdostam bennetek,
Bujdostam én az vadakkal,
Sírtam a kis madarakkal.
Azt gondolnád, eső esik,
Pedig a szemem könnyezik,
Szemem könnyes, orcám nedves,
Mind teérted van ez, kedves.
Rózsa nyílik az völgyekből,
Esik eső az egekből.
Hát én magam így egyedül,
Hogy éljek meg nálad nélkül!
