Il vago e bell'Armillo
Language:
Italian
Il vago e bell'Armillo
pagava il dritto al mare
con sue lagrime amare,
mentre in cima d'un scoglio
lagrimando sfogava il suo cordoglio.
E dicea: "O beate
onde, che specchi sete
a tanta alma beltade,
I miei sospir benigne raccogliete
serbando del mio viso ogn'hora in voi
l'imagine dogliosa,
né la confonda il vostro moto poi,
acciò quando a mirar quella ritrosa
empia verrà la sua gentil sembianza,
veda il mio duol che tutti gl'altri avanza."
