Voici l'abeille qui butine
Dans les prés fleuris aux vives couleurs.
En elle, le royaume des fleurs
Verse une liqueur divine.
Quand le hibou crie et qu'il fait nuit,
les fées vont dans la clairière où leur blanche silhouette
Se reflète dans le sombre étang où dort le nénuphar.
Au matin, la vive alouette
S'élance dans l'éther en chantant gaiement.
Elle fend l'air et disparaît au firmament.
Quand vient le midi, la guêpe folâtre dans un chaud rayon.
Qu'il est doux, le rêve que berce sa mouvante chanson.
