Es singt bei Nacht und bei Tag;
Das hören die Tannen auf den Höh'n
Und rauschen sein Lied ihm nach.

Das hören die Vöglein im Waldesgrün
Und jubelns durch Busch und Strauch.
Das hören die Blumen, die drunten blühn,
