Záhy jsem vstala, všecky zasela
zelené majoránky.
Já řídce sela, hustě mi vzešly
a pěkně zpupeněly.
Z jejích jsem listí vila věnečky
z naší vsi pro děvčatka.
Z jejích jsem kvítků pletla kytičky
z naší vsi pro mládence.
Jdu, jdu po vesnici, u stěn poslouchám,
s milým mne pomlouvsjí.
Nermuť srdečko, drahá panenko,
pošlapej ta slovíčka.
Stromoví opadne, drahá panenko,
Nás přestanou pomlouvat.
