Accorta lusinghiera
già m'annodasti il cor,
et mor' acciò ch'io pera
in me non credi amor.

In pianto mi distillo,
disciolto ai lumi il fren,
di fuori ardo e sfavillo
colm'ò di fiamme il sen.

Così pianse un pastore
con mille e mille ohimè,
del suo non finito amore
la non creduta fé.
