Thee and thy wondrous deeds
Language:
English
Thee and thy wondrous deeds, O Lord,
With all my soul I sound abroad.
My joy and triumph is in thee;
Of thy dread name my song shall be.
Down shall the wicked backwards fall
To deepest hell, and nations all
That God forgot. Nor shall the poor
Forgotten be for evermore.
Lo, in eternal state God sits,
And hishigh throne to justice fits;
Whose righteous hands the world doth wield.
And to all folk just doom dost yield.
O sing the God that doth abide
On Sion mount, and blazon wide
His worthy deeds; for he pursues
The guiltless blood with vengeance due.
Alleluja.
