Qui couvriront l'étang du moulin ruiné,
Quand le vent remplira le trou béant des portes
Et l'inutile espace où la meule a tourné,
Je reviendrai m'asseoir alors sur cette borne
Contre le mur, tissé d'un vieux lierre vermeil,
Et regarder longtemps, dans l'eau glacée et morne.
S'éteindre mon image et le pâle soleil.
