Die Störche ziehen fort,
Sie ziehn in weite Ferne
An einen wärmeren Ort.
Ade, ade, ihr Störche,
Zur Reise wünsch ich Glück!
Kommt nur zur alten Heimat
Im Frühling uns zurück.
Wir bleiben hier zuhause,
Ist's oft auch rauh und kalt,
Und freu'n uns, wenn vom Dache
Das Klappern wieder schallt!
