poddane źywiołów sile
wciąź muszą gnać.

Snem są mi tych chmur pogonie
w posępną dal,
lecz budzą wciąź w naszem łonie
tęsknoty źal.

Co tylko się zjawi mija,
wsród niebios pól,
a zawsze swiat ten spowija
odwieczny ból.

Bezładnie mkną chmury czarne
z wichury tchem,
O! Jakźe cię mocno garnę
na sercu mem.
