O, kak khotelos' slushat' mne,

Lazur' nebes raskinula
Nad nami svoj shater.
A lug cetami chudnymi
Stelilsja, kak kover.
V ljubvi priznalas' ja jemu,
Sklonjas' na grud' k nemu.
I pel ruchej nam pesenku,
Otradno jejo bylo slushat' mne,
On pel o ljubvi, pel o radostnykh dnjakh,
Pel o schast'je ljudskom, o vesne...
Minuli dni schastlivykh grjoz,
O chem mechtal tak sladko on;
Nastali dni gorjuchikh sljoz,
