Chaque zéphir qui s'envole
Te ravit de tristes bruits;
Quand sommeille la nature

Quand donc ta branche flexible
Te verra-t-elle paisible?
Quand donc se taira ta voix?
Quand de ma tige arrachée
J'irai sur l'herbe séchée
