Elvënnélek, ha od'adna az anyád.
Majd mikor a rëngő nádszál elhërvad,
Én is elhërvadok, babám tënálad.
Lëesëtt a piros alma a sárba,
No de sëbaj, nem esëtt a Dunába.
Fëlvëszëm a piros almát, mëgmosom,
Szép a babám köröskörül csókolom.
Négy alma van ëgy tányéron, mind piros,
A legénynek lányhoz járni nem tilos
Tilos volna még akkor is eljárnék,
Míg ëggy igaz szeretőre találnék.
