Z oné strany vody, v lese ve bučině
zpívá pastýřečka jako křepelička.
Pastýřeček za ní, ona se mu brání;
chytá za ručinku, prosí o hubinku.
Co ti, pastýřečku, co ti po hubince.
A hle, tam přichází někdo po pěšince.
A necht, si přichází, když já touhou prahnu,
jestli mi ji nedáš, já ti ji ukradnu.
Z oné strany vody,
v lese ve bučině zpívá pastýřečka.
