Nam mnitsja: mir osirotelyj
Neotrazimyj rok nastig.
I my, v bor'be s prirodoj celoj
Pokinuty na nas samikh.
I nasha zhizn' stoit pred nami,
Kak prizrak na kraju zemli,
I s nashim vekom i druz'jami
Blednejet v sumrachnoj dali.
I novoje mladoje plemja
Mezh tem na solnce rascvelo,
I nas, druz'ja, i nashe vremja
Davno zabven'jem zaneslo.
Lish' izredka obrjad pechal'nyj
