La vaste mer aux flots plombés
Gronde, sombre et mystérieuse,

Bat dans ma poitrine enfiévrée.
Mon amour fier et triomphant
Grandit au bruit de la tourmente,

Tu lèves d'un air anxieux
Vers moi ta prunelle azurée;
