Mein Liebchen is kein stolzes Schloß,
dran prunkend reiche Säulen stehn,
nach dessen Fenstern hoch zu Roß
viel eitle Herren grüßend sehen.

'Sist nur ein Kirchlein tief im Wald,
dran ranket Ros' und Rebe sich.
So klar darin sein Glöcklein schallt
und niemand betet drin als ich.
