Gekommen ist der Maie,
Die Blumen und Bäume blühn,
Und durch die Himmelsbläue
Die rosigen Wolken ziehn.

Die Nachtigallen singen
Herab aus der laubigen Höh,
Die weißen Lämmer springen
Im weichen grünen Klee.

Ich kann nicht singen und springen,
